We did this craft to go along with the adorable book Bunny Finds Easter by Laura Sassi. It is an adorable board book about a sweet bunny who is discovering what Easter is all about. It would be the perfect addition to your little ones Easter basket!
We enjoy reading children’s books by this author. Check out her website for her latest book releases. We have enjoyed creating a spring craft for her sweet book Little Ewe as well.

How to Create a Paper Plate Bunny
The steps to creating a paper plate bunny are simple! First I cut “bunny ears” from a piece of white cardstock. Then used a pastel pink Kwik Stik to add more detail to the ears. A marker or crayon would also work great for this.
Then we used school glue to attach the bunny ears to the top of the paper plate. Next we figured out where the eyes and nose should go. Using the school glue, we attached the googly eyes and the yellow pom pom nose.
We used a marker to draw on a cute mouth, eye lashes and whiskers for the bunny. The foam flower stickers made a pretty headpiece for the bunny. We had these leftover from a Paper Plate Easter Wreath Craft. To finish the craft we added rosy cheeks with the pink paint stick.
This bunny craft turned out SO cute! It was a fun craft to go along with the book Bunny Finds Easter. I hope you enjoy it too!
