We have had a blast with all the bright and cheery Rainbow Week Crafts and Activities! This theme is definitely making the cut again next year for our DIY Summer Camp {Camp Mom}. As usual we kept it super simple but super fun. When you are dealing with all the bright colors of the rainbow, how could it not be fun? Right?

COLOR THE RAINBOW
We started off the week really simple. I had picked up a 24 pack of rainbows in the Target Dollar Spot a few weeks ago. They were in the teacher supply section and are intended for bulletin board decorations. They were perfect for us to color on and get us geared up for more rainbow fun! I even found a cute tin bucket with a rainbow to hold our new markers. I’m thinking these rainbows will look really cute tied together to make a banner in our reading nook!
RAINBOW SNACK STICKS
Every themed week needs a fun snack! These Rainbow Snack Sticks were fun and super simple to make. The hardest part is getting the fruit loop on the pretzel sticks. You have to gently twist it on the stick to make it work. There will be a few casualties but it is fun to snack along the way.
BUILD A RAINBOW LEGO CASTLE
This activity was so much fun! Graylie and I started off by trying to build a basic rainbow out of Lego Duplo Blocks. Once we had the rainbow created, our creativity kicked in and it turned into a Rainbow Castle Masterpiece!
Rainbow Sponge Painting
If you love easy artwork, this painting project is for you! It only requires a sponge, paint, and a piece of paper. The results of this artwork are so bright and cheery. The kids were amazed by how easily they could create their own rainbow.
MONSTER BLOW PAINTING BOOK ACTIVITY
This activity based on the book Monsters Love Colors is super fun and super cute! We used watered down paint to create some monstery looking globs of paint with straws. Then we decorated them with a sharpie and some cool monster googly eyes we found at Dollar Tree. You’ll have to check out our full tutorial because you’re definitely going to want to do this one!
RAINBOW BUTTON FRAMES
This is actually a project we did last year. I wanted to share it though because it is a really cute craft that is fun for all ages. We have our frames in our playroom and they bring a smile to my face every day.
PAPER PLATE RAINBOWS

Here is another simple rainbow craft to do with kids! Paper Plate Rainbows are easy to create with Kwik Stix Paint. These paint sticks have become one of our most favorite art supplies.
If you are big fan of bright colors like we are, I’m sure you will enjoy these Easy Rainbow Crafts and Activities! I can’t believe summer is coming to an end. I really has gone by so fast. We have one more theme to do this summer for Kindness Week. I think we’ve decided to start this next week since we are super busy getting in all those last play dates and outings in with friends!
