Get the kids involved in spreading some holiday cheer this year! They will love to make the cards to give to teachers, family and friends. This Christmas Card Craft is super easy and perfect for kids of all ages.
This would even be a fun project for a preschool class. Kids love showing their artwork and would be so proud to have it featured on a holiday card.

Christmas Card Supplies for Kids
This easy card uses only a few supplies! We used Kwik Stix paint sticks but this could also be done with watercolors, crayons or makers. Here is a full list of the supplies.
- Kwik Stix
- White Notecards
- Masking Tape
- Glitter Glue (optional)
Kids Making Christmas Cards
This is a super easy tape resist project using Kwik Stix Paint Sticks. Just use masking tape to create a festive holiday design on a blank white notecard. I chose to use a simple Christmas Tree and Snowflake design.
I did create the design with the masking tape ahead of time. If you are crafting with older children, they may enjoy doing this part themselves.
Once the design is on the notecard, the kids can use the paint sticks to color the card over the tape. We used red and green for the Christmas Tree card. Then pinks, blues, and purples for the snowflake card.
The paint sticks dry quickly so you will be able to pull the tape off within a few minutes. It is so fun to see what the finished design looks like. We also added glitter glue to our cards to give them some extra sparkle!
