The sun finally came out here this week! We have had so much rain and so many dreary days. With March just around the corner, I realized St. Patrick’s Day is coming up quickly! Hopefully that also means spring is on it’s way. Here are some super fun ideas for crafts and activities to help you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the kiddos.

Leprechaun Paper Plate Mask
This is one we actually made last year! You know I love paper plate crafts! It is super easy. You just paint a cheap paper plate with orange paint. The hat is easy to cut from construction paper. I used gold glitter tape for the hat buckle but you could also use glitter glue. You can find the full tutorial at Simple Today Life.
Leprechaun Handprint Craft
How adorable is this handprint craft from Simple Every Day Mom?! This craft would be perfect for preschoolers. Handprint crafts make such great keepsakes too. She also has a super cute photo craft for St. Patrick’s Day.

You can’t go wrong with a holiday themed sensory bin. These are always so much fun! This one from Cookies, Coffee, and Crafts features beautiful rainbow rice and golden coins. This would be the perfect activity for your toddler or preschooler.
Rock Painting
Rock Painting is one of our favorite projects! I never thought about doing it to celebrate the holidays. These festive shamrocks and gold nugget painted rocks from Sustain My Craft Habit are so fun.
Leprechaun Traps

Irish Fairy Garden
We love creating themed fairy gardens in our backyard. My friend Angie at Flippin Fanchers created this adorable miniature garden in an old aquarium. This is such a fun way to repurpose a used item!
