There were lots of giggles this week when we made this Spookley the Square Pumpkin Snack Craft! If you have never read the book, it is a great one for the fall season. I used to love reading it to my kids and now my daughter enjoys reading it to me.
This cute book teaches kids to celebrate their differences. We kept that in mind while creating our snack and made each one a little different.

Spookley the Square Pumpkin Snack Craft Supplies
I will share with you the supplies that we used. There is no right or wrong way to make these. So feel free to get creative and use other things that you may already have on hand.
Here is a list of the supplies we used for this activity.
I also purchased a bag of Halloween M&Ms for this project but we didn’t use them. The gummy straws were so much fun to work with and we always have a great time with candy eyeballs.
Creating Graham Cracker Spookley the Square Pumpkin Snacks
Even if kids don’t enjoy crafts, they will always get excited about crafting with frosting and candy! The first step in this activity is to spread orange frosting on the graham cracker. You could use a spreader or a plastic knife for this.
Once they have the orange icing covering the graham cracker, it is time to decorate it. We had the best time making these pumpkin faces.
I had originally thought the candy straws would only be used as the stem of the pumpkin. I loved that she decided to use them as the mouth as well.
This would be such a fun activity to do this weekend before Halloween! Be sure to check out our other Pumpkin Crafts for Kids as well.
