Anyone else excited to finally be into March? We had a rough start to the year with an ice storm, snow storm, and lots of sickness. Bring on all the spring crafts and recipes! Here is a fun recipe for an Easy Lucky Charms Cake for St. Patrick’s Day. This recipe can be made into bars as well. It makes a really cute cake though.

It is super simple and very similar to the Patriotic Popcorn Cake we made a few years ago. There are very few ingredients involved. This makes it the perfect recipe to make with kids!

Lucky Charms Cake Ingredients

This Lucky Charms Cake Recipe is super easy and only requires three simple ingredients! Here are the ingredients we used.

  • 12 oz package marshmallows
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 10 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
Ingredients for Lucky Charm Cake

Lucky Charms Cake Instructions

Measure 10 cups of the cereal and put in a large mixing bowl. We also sorted out about 1/4 cup of the green clover marshmallows to use at the end to make the cake more festive.

Then melt the butter in the microwave for 45 seconds. Add the marshmallows and toss to coat. Microwave for another minute or until the marshmallows are melted. Add the melted marshmallow and butter mixture to the cereal.

Mix the melted butter and marshmallow mixture into the cereal until combined. The kids will have fun doing this part!

Press the mixture into a prepared bundt pan. Let it set for at least 15 minutes before turning it onto a serving plate. You can press some of the marshmallows into the top of the cake if you desire.
