Dinner on Halloween Night doesn’t always have to be pizza! Kids would love to have this Easy Halloween Dinner Idea of Mummy Hot Dogs. These are super easy to make and would go great with a pot of chili for the adults.

Mummy Hot Dogs Ingredients
The ingredients are super simple for these Mummy Hot Dogs! I originally used a recipe from Pillsbury when we started making these but it included cheese. My kids aren’t a big fan of cheese even though I love it!

I try to purchase the crescent roll dough and hot dogs at Aldi since I’ve found they have the best prices. We really like Nathan Hot Dogs but any hots dogs would work!
Here are the ingredients we use for the Crescent Mummy Hot Dogs.
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 package hot dogs
- candy eyeballs
- ketchup and/or mustard for dipping
Crescent Mummy Hot Dogs
These Mummy Hot Dogs are super easy to make! Go ahead and preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then open up the crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a large cutting board. Press the perforations of the dough together to form one large triangle.
Then use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips. Use those strips of dough to wrap the hot dogs up to look like a mummy! This part is so fun! Leave a little space at the top for the eyeballs to be placed once they come out of the oven.
Place your mummy hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until the dough is lightly browned and the hot dogs are hot throughout.
Once they come out of the oven, place a couple of dots of ketchup where the eyes should go. Then place the candy eyeballs on top of those dots. They are ready to serve! Kids love to dip these in ketchup but I personally enjoy honey mustard.

The candy eyeballs really make these Mummy Dogs super fun! We also used them in a Spookley the Square Pumpkin Snack Craft that is perfect for this time of year as well.
If you are having a Halloween party, make these mummy dogs along with some fun Spider Pizza Bites for some great appetizer ideas.
