Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays! I felt that way even before kids. Who doesn’t like candy? It’s a great excuse to buy candy and decorate with pumpkins. Now that I do have kids, I can do even more fun activities like this cute Paper Plate Halloween Craft!

Stock up on craft supplies at the end of each season!
Last year I had so much fun stocking up on all the 70% off deals at Michael’s. I hit the jackpot for Halloween and Thanksgiving crafty supplies for the kids.
I am definitely keeping my eyes open for the sale again this year! After all, it was a blast to pull out all the Halloween goodies earlier this month. We had tons of stickers and embellishments to play with.
Foam stickers are great for little hands!
We really enjoy using foam stickers. They are great for little hands. Plus you can usually find them in all the themes. We made a Halloween Paper Plate Wreath last year and that was super fun!
For the wreath craft, we just used crayons. I wanted to do something a little different this year. So we decided to use the amazing Kwik Stix Paint for this Paper Plate Halloween Craft.
Kwik Stix Paint is one of our favorite craft supplies.
If you have never used these paint sticks, you need to order them right now! The colors are so vibrant. They go on like paint but dry in 90 seconds. Also, they are completely washable.
For this easy Halloween Paper Plate Craft, you only need a few supplies.
- Paper Plate
- Kwik Stix Paint (crayons or markers would also work)
- Halloween Stickers
To begin the craft, use the paint sticks to color the entire paper plate. We used two different colors to create a Halloween scene.
Once they are finished coloring or painting the paper plate, they can add the stickers. We used a variety of Halloween stickers for this project.
Halloween Paper Plate Crafts are great for class activities or parties.
This craft works great for groups since it is mess free and uses minimal supplies. Kids will love creating their own Halloween masterpiece!
This is also a great craft for kids of all ages. Preschoolers or toddlers may not get the concept of creating an actual scene. On the other hand, they would love to color and use stickers to create their own art.
