I don’t know about you, but we still have lots of Halloween candy hanging around! I have a really hard time during this season of the year caving to the sugar monster. This week I decided to take control of it and make these yummy Peanut Butter Crunch Powerballs. They still have enough chocolate to make me feel like I am getting a treat. It officially feels like summer! School is out on Friday and the pool has been open for weeks! If you are like us, we love being able to grill out more. This weekend I tried a new recipe for Sausage and Veggie Foil Packs. These would be awesome to take on a camping trip. We used a bratwurst sausage in ours and threw them on the grill. Who doesn’t love waffles? We got a waffle maker this year for Christmas and have had so much fun with it. Who knew all the things you can make besides just regular waffles! We have made waffle grilled cheese and waffle peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in it. Most recently, we decided to try egg waffles. Even Gavin loved these and he usually will not eat eggs. (more…)
This is a pretty basic strawberry smoothie, but add a cute cup and straw and you have something special! The frozen strawberries and strawberry yogurt make it a nice pink color. I think it makes a great breakfast treat or afternoon snack.
