We are starting spring break this week which means the end of another school year is around the corner. Gavin turned eight last week and loves finding a new book series. I asked him to tell me what his top book series are and what he would recommend to any other second grade boy. (more…)
We had a very busy weekend! Graylie turned three years old last week so we had a few friends and family members over to celebrate. Needless to say, my normal way of menu planning was thrown off a little. I normally would have prepared a dinner on Saturday night that could also be used Monday night for dinner. Since we had ordered a nugget tray from Chick-fil-a and had lots left over, we decided to have chicken nuggets for dinner that night! The kids were thrilled with that option. I chopped mine up over a salad with ranch dressing and it was really good. (more…)
Do you have leftover valentine cards hanging around in a closet or a drawer? If you are like us, we never use a whole box and then I hate to throw the rest away. This year I decided to re-purpose them into cupcake toppers. (more…)
If you have little kids, I am sure you are familiar with pouches such as GoGo Squeeze and Mashups. We spend a lot of money on these pouches. It is strawberry season in North Carolina and that makes me happy! We stopped by the produce stand this weekend to pick up a bucket. One of my favorite breakfasts during the week is a bowl of berries and yogurt topped with granola. I follow a lot of crafters on Instagram and really enjoy one in particular called “Get Creative With”. Each week is a new challenge to get creative. Last week’s challenge was Get Creative With Buttons. I don’t always participate, but I thought this one would be particularly fun. (more…)
This will most likely be the last post in the Toddler Tuesday series. Our baby is turning three next week so she will officially no longer be a toddler! She will now be a preschooler! It goes by way too quickly!
For my last post I want to do a Toddler Toy Roundup. This is a list of toys that we have enjoyed and have been beneficial to us over the past couple of years. Most of these are pretty inexpensive. It really doesn’t take a whole lot to make a toddler happy! (more…)

We’ve also checked out some really cute spring books from the library as well. We are always looking for new books so feel free to leave suggestions in the comments for us. (more…)

Scrapbooking has always been one of my favorite hobbies but I just can’t seem to find the time! I probably have 10 years worth of photos that need a home. I have considered just slipping them all into albums and calling it a day. (more…)
