It is my favorite time of year! Fall is here bringing cooler temperatures, beautiful falling leaves, pumpkins and all kinds of yummy fall treats! One of my favorite places to shop for treats is Trader Joe’s. When we went a couple of weeks ago, we were excited to see all of the fun fall items out. We loaded up our cart with all kinds of yummy items! (more…)

With back to school on the horizon, it is time to start thinking about school lunches and snacks again. I have to admit, packing lunches is not one of my favorite things. I wish I was more into it. There are so many great ideas out there especially on Pinterest.
We usually make a run to Trader Joe’s to stock up on some of our back to school favorites. Now that I am shopping at ALDI, this may change a little for us in the months to come. I love to have convenient snacks available to throw into their backpacks. (more…)
How is it really already that time again? Time for buying back packs, markers, folders, paper, lunchboxes, etc. Back to School can be stressful when you are trying to find the best deals on all these items. Last week before we checked out Aldi’s, we decided to pop into Dollar Tree to scope out the best items for back to school!
Not all items are the best price or best quality at Dollar Tree. You really have to watch for prices related to quantity and brand. I always buy my markers and crayons at Target or Wal-Mart during Back to School sales when they have Crayola or Rose Art marked down. (more…)
We have had an ALDI grocery store for at least a couple of years now. I have several friends who love it and have recommended different products to me. They have also told me about the great deals you can find there. I finally decided to make a visit there over the weekend. The weekend may not have been the best time to do this. Although, it was either go on the weekend or go with an unpredictable three year old.
I knew before going that I would need to bring my own bags and that I would need a quarter for a grocery cart. In case you have never been, you do get the quarter back once you return the cart. These are a couple of things they do differently to keep prices lower. (more…)
We are giving HelloFresh a try this week! HelloFresh is a meal delivery service that delivers “fresh ingredients and healthy recipes straight to your door.” A friend of mine had posted a great picture of a meal she had prepared using HelloFresh and I was very intrigued. She sent me a coupon for $40 off so I decided to give it a shot. (more…)
If you have little kids, I am sure you are familiar with pouches such as GoGo Squeeze and Mashups. We spend a lot of money on these pouches. We pack them in lunches, carry them to the park, have them on road trips, etc…. The reason we use them so much is that they are so convenient to throw into a bag or cooler and they keep the mess to a minimum. (more…)
This will most likely be the last post in the Toddler Tuesday series. Our baby is turning three next week so she will officially no longer be a toddler! She will now be a preschooler! It goes by way too quickly!
For my last post I want to do a Toddler Toy Roundup. This is a list of toys that we have enjoyed and have been beneficial to us over the past couple of years. Most of these are pretty inexpensive. It really doesn’t take a whole lot to make a toddler happy! (more…)

Scrapbooking has always been one of my favorite hobbies but I just can’t seem to find the time! I probably have 10 years worth of photos that need a home. I have considered just slipping them all into albums and calling it a day. (more…)
When we first started reading to Graylie as a baby, I realized I loved all books by Karen Katz. As she got bigger, I loved them even more and so did she. (more…)
