Do you have leftover valentine cards hanging around in a closet or a drawer? If you are like us, we never use a whole box and then I hate to throw the rest away. This year I decided to re-purpose them into cupcake toppers.

This turned out to be pretty simple. I just used a couple of circle punches. I cut the image from the valentine card with a 2″ Scallop Circle Punch. Then I used a 2 1/2″ Circle Punch to cut out another circle to layer it on.

Once I taped the image down, I used glitter glue to add dots around the edge of the circle. I used foam tape to attach these to Lollipop Sticks. Then, I tied narrow silver ribbon to the base of the circles.

This is a very simple project and a fun way to jazz up a dozen or so grocery store cupcakes!
